Kitchen Tools:  The Basics

My recommendations come from my own experience and from Cook’s Illustrated.  I highly recommend that you subscribe to Cook’s on-line magazine.  The $20 subscription is very worthwhile.  The well-tested recipes, food and kitchen tool recommendations are excellent.
The Cook's Illustrated bi-monthly magazine is also well worth subscribing to.  I continue to learn from the magazine and apply many of its tips to my own cooking and teaching.
